Bas-relief (also known as “low relief”) is a sculptural technique in which figures, designs, or motifs with minimal depth are carved or molded into a flat surface.
In a bas-relief, the motifs slightly protrude from the background but do not fully detach from it, as is the case with a high relief or a fully three-dimensional sculpture. Instead, the raised elements only slightly project outward while maintaining a connection to the background plane.
Explore our collection and get inspired! We can enhance all structures to your specifications, whether it’s with liquid metal or other surface refinements.

Our bas-relief artworks are the result of innovative 3D sublimation using our laser technology, Sublidot by Strasserthun, which allows for a modern reinterpretation of this historical art form.
The raised elements create a subtle connection to the background plane, giving rise to an impressive interplay of light and shadow.
Our works form a captivating bridge between the past and present by blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
