About the Vocational Trainer

Désirée Schmutz completed her basic training as a carpenter at Strasserthun and obtained her Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) in 2016.

Since her training, Désirée has worked in the workshop, in the machine room using state-of-the-art machinery, showcased her skills on construction sites during assembly tasks, and gained experience in surface finishing. Her desire to become a vocational trainer grew stronger, and in 2018, after completing her training as a vocational trainer, she took on the responsibility of training apprentices.

Désirée Schmutz also works as a Computer-Aided Designer (CAD) at Strasserthun, providing the perfect balance to train our apprentices comprehensively.

Not only Désirée makes a significant contribution to the training of our apprentices: all employees at Strasserthun work together towards the same goal, mentoring our future «young talents.» This way, experiences and competencies can be passed on to the next generation.
