Right on target: In 2017, we won Gold in “Excellent Product Design” at the German Design Award 2017 with Sublidot. In 2018, our innovative laser technology was also honored with the prestigious Red Dot Award. The award-winning patterns of the “Collection – MDF Patterned” were designed in close collaboration with six different designers and precisely multi-stage sublimated using our unique laser technology, «Sublidot.»
Jury statement from the German Design Council: Until now, MDF panels were known only for their smooth surface. With this series, the material presents itself with a three-dimensionally patterned surface, creating a fascinating interplay of light and shadow when properly illuminated. A fantastic innovation that impresses both visually and haptically, opening up completely new possibilities in furniture and interior design.
